Dumbreck Outdoor Playbarn is an imaginative indoor and outdoor play space for children aged 1-7.
Alongside child-led stay & play sessions and events throughout the year, we’re also a magical setting for special occasions such as children’s parties and community events.
We believe joy and whimsy should be a daily part of children’s lives, and we try and make that a little easier and accessible for Glasgow parents.
You’ll find us on the doorstep of Pollok Country Park with plenty of nature, resources, energy and toys to let your child’s imagination run free. If your little one loves to climb, explore, create and get a little muddy sometimes, well then you might have just found their new favourite place!
Our indoor and outdoor play areas mean there’s no such thing as bad weather – just different kinds of adventure.

Stay & Play Sessions in Glasgow
Looking for children’s activities in Glasgow that give little ones the freedom to play and learn at their own pace?
Our Stay & Play sessions run between 10am and 3pm most weekdays.
Each session is thoughtfully designed by our early years educators around a different theme or activity. Joining in is completely optional and each child’s choice. We are firm believers that enagment and desire to partake is the first step in children's learning. And sometimes, disrupting them from their own play and imagination is the wrong thing to do!
We’ll always follow their lead, encouraging independence, curiosity, cooperation, empathy and problem-solving through play, while helping little ones build confidence as they navigate new experiences.
While the children get busy exploring, grown-ups can enjoy a hot drink, a cosy seat and the warmth of our indoor barn. Although, in our experience, it’s not long before their inner child comes out to play too!

Glasgow Party & Event Space
Dumbreck Playbarn isn’t your traditional event space, but it’s definitely one of the most memorable.
The space is a wonderfully unexpected setting for parties and private events in Glasgow. Children’s birthday parties and graduations, baby showers launch parties and creative workshops – we make it easy to celebrate and create memories.
Our cosy indoor Dutch Barn and expansive outdoor garden give you plenty of space to eat, play, celebrate and make the occasion your own. Whether it’s a big milestone or simply an excuse to get everyone together, we’ll help make it feel special.
